You can have anything you want if you dress for it! This is an interactive job readiness workshop that helps girls learn how to prepare for an interview, dress for success, and articulate why they are the right person for the job.
This workshop is open to both girls and their parents. College 101 is a college readiness workshop which discusses the benefits of college, different types of colleges, the college application process, how to pay for college, and what to expect once you get to college.
Flaws and All
How does the media construct our perceptions of beauty? This interactive workshop addresses the influence of social media on girls' body image and self-esteem. We address unrealistic media representations of girls' and women in magazines and advertisements. We then teach girls the importance of self-worth and the skills to take action and engage in social change.
What does Love Sound like?
Girls are required to listen to song lyrics within rap and pop music from a cultural and a gender perspective, focusing on the depiction of women, relationships, and love. The girls are asked to listen closely to the lyrics and write down what they hear-- listening closely to the words that describe women, relationships, and love. Girls then discuss their findings, share their feelings, and learn the skills to take action and engage in social change.
This workshop is open to both girls and their parents. Money Matters is a hands-on introductory workshop that covers the importance of credit and the how-to's of banking and budgeting.
Journaling & Journeying Through Life
Journaling is a wonderful way to help girls develop or maintain their authentic voices. In this creative workshop, girls design their own journal and learn how journaling can help them reach their goals.
"Why doesn't he/she like me? OMG he screenshot my DM message!" This workshop provides girls with the tools and confidence to deal with mean girls, conflict, bullying, frenamies, gossip, and boys in the world of social media. Girls are taught the importance of self-esteem and when to seek help from adult. Girls learn ways to effectively communicate and settle their conflicts. Girls are required to create a Public Service Announcement to promote a more positive social environment amount their peers.

Act like a lady, think like a boss! This interactive workshop cultivates the development of future leaders, entrepreneurs and CEO's. Girls create vision boards and learn how to develop their very own business plan.
The World Is Our Runway!
Girls design their own t-shirt and then model their designs as they learn the basic fundamentals of fashion and modeling.
Girls guide on how to keep skin clear and makeup simple. Makeup 101 is a hands on class which allows girls to learn the basics of makeup and skin care.
